Nehemiah 1:8-9 King James Version (KJV)
8 Remember, I beseech thee, the word that thou commandedst thy servant Moses, saying, If ye transgress, I will scatter you abroad among the nations:
9 But if ye turn unto me, and keep my commandments, and do them; though there were of you cast out unto the uttermost part of the heaven, yet will I gather them from thence, and will bring them unto the place that I have chosen to set my name there.

8 Remember, I beseech thee, the word that thou didst command thy slave Moses, saying, If ye transgress, I will scatter you abroad among the peoples;
9 but if ye turn unto me and keep my commandments and do them; though there were of you cast out unto the uttermost part of the heavens, yet will I gather them from there and will bring them unto the place that I have chosen to cause my name to dwell there.

These are my thoughts, please share yours.
8 This happened at the time of the exile the people were scattered then just now have started to come back because they have a nation once again. We as Christians are to follow God because without listening to His leadership we are just wandering around without direction, He gives us the direction and also a cause, to serve Him.
9 The people started to come back after the exile was over but they would not all come back because it was not their own land any more, they were still under the power of foreigners. We as Christians are to come together for Him in His name to serve Him. Christianity is not bound by area, culture or language, Christ wants us all to submit to His will.
