Psalms 75:1
KJV 1 Unto thee, O God, do we give thanks, unto thee do we give thanks: for that thy name is near thy wondrous works declare.
JuliaSmith 1 We confessed to thee, O God, we confessed: and thy name is near, thy wonders recounted.

These are my thoughts.
We can some many of the great things the Lord has done for us and some we do not know but we are to thank Him and praise His name for what He has done.

Psalms 75:2

KJV 2 When I shall receive the congregation I will judge uprightly.

JuliaSmith 2 For I will take the appointment, I will judge uprightnesses

These are my thoughts.

In time God will judge and it will be the right decision because God can not do anything but what is right.

Psalms 74:3

KJV 3 Lift up thy feet unto the perpetual desolations; even all that the enemy hath done wickedly in the sanctuary.

JuliaSmith 3 Lift up thy steps to desolations forever; all the evil of the enemy in the holy place.

These are my thoughts.

When we face wickedness we should always look up to the Lord.

We are only to boast of God because without Him we are nothing.

There are times for praise but then there are times we just need to lower our heads in prayer.

God is the judge, we are to share His word to help people find Christ rather than face judgment.

KJV 8 For in the hand of the LORD there is a cup, and the wine is red; it is full of mixture; and he poureth out of the same: but the dregs thereof, all the wicked of the earth shall wring them out, and drink them.

Jesus references then when He talks of drinking the cup this cup is judgment and we want no part of it we want to receive the blood not this.

We should never stop praising the Lord; let our lives be praise to Him.

These are my thoughts.
Let us not stand with the wicked but stand for Him and in Him that way we can be used to lift Him up.
