Matthew 25:5-9 King James Version (KJV)
5 While the bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and slept.
6 And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him.
7 Then all those virgins arose, and trimmed their lamps.
8 And the foolish said unto the wise, Give us of your oil; for our lamps are gone out.
9 But the wise answered, saying, Not so; lest there be not enough for us and you: but go ye rather to them that sell, and buy for yourselves.

5 This refers to the foolish brides, they rested, those that are foolish only serve for a time and then they lose their passion.
6 The Lord will come and everyone will know but the question is when we meet Him will we be ready.
7 They went to see the Bridegroom. We should be excited to see the Lord if we are in the right place.
8 The foolish did not have oil to go find the Bridegroom, they could not go see the Lord because their faith was weak and was not strong enough for them to carry them to Him.
9 We can not make it on others oil or faith we have to allow on our own faith in Him to carry us, if we don’t got enough oil or faith we have to rely on Him for the amount we need, often times if we are lacking in faith it is because we allowed something to stand in our way.
