Matthew 24:40-44 King James Version (KJV)
40 Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left.
41 Two women shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left.
42 Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come.
43 But know this, that if the goodman of the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up.
44 Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.

44 Therefore be ye also ready; the Son of man is to come in the hour that ye think not.

These are my thoughts, please share yours.
40 This is not about the rapture but is about Jesus’ return is more about there being two in the field and one of them choosing Christ and the other rejecting Him. There will be you see everyday that you may thank will be in heaven but the won’t be taken because they never accepted Him as Lord.
41 The same is for this women, Christ’s return will happen as we are going about our everyday life, we will be going on like we have more time but then, He is back.
42 The Lord will return we are be alert about His coming we need to be ready.
43 Thieves often times do not break in when people are home. If people knew Christ when Christ would return they would wait until that last moment living a life of sin until then. We do not know the time so we should come to Him when we are the chance.
44 He will come when we least expect it, Jesus will come we should be ready but the time is something no one knows, if God wanted anyone to know it would be in scripture, Jesus would have said it, we are not to know.
