Matthew 23:23-24King James Version (KJV)
23 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye pay tithe of mint and anise and cummin, and have omitted the weightier matters of the law, judgment, mercy, and faith: these ought ye to have done, and not to leave the other undone.
24 Ye blind guides, which strain at a gnat, and swallow a camel.
Matthew 23:23-24GOD’S WORD Translation (GW)
23 “How horrible it will be for you, experts in Moses’ Teachings and Pharisees! You hypocrites! You give God one-tenth of your mint, dill, and cumin. But you have neglected justice, mercy, and faithfulness. These are the most important things in Moses’ Teachings. You should have done these things without neglecting the others. 24 You blind guides! You strain gnats out of your wine, but you swallow camels.

These are my thoughts, please share yours.
23 They knew the teachings of Moses better than most people of the time. They kept the law that made them look good. The law that showed acts on their part things they could have bragged about doing, but often neglected people. They did things they were suppose to do but did not have the heart to do them it was like a, to do list and after the list was completed they were done, they did not do these things to help others or show love.
24 This means they worry about the little things and let the big things over take them. The worry about little details of the law but missed the heart behind the law, love for God.
