Philippians 1:27-30

27 Only let your conversation be as it becometh the gospel of Christ: that whether I come and see you, or else be absent, I may hear of your affairs, that ye stand fast in one spirit, with one mind striving together for the faith of the gospel;
28 And in nothing terrified by your adversaries: which is to them an evident token of perdition, but to you of salvation, and that of God.
29 For unto you it is given in the behalf of Christ, not only to believe on him, but also to suffer for his sake;
30 Having the same conflict which ye saw in me, and now hear to be in me.

27 Only conduct yourselves worthily of the glad tidings of the Christ, in order that whether coming and seeing you, or absent, I may hear of what concerns you, that ye stand firm in one spirit, with one soul, labouring together in the same conflict with the faith of the glad tidings;
28 and not frightened in anything by the opposers, which is to them a demonstration of destruction, but of your salvation, and that from God;
29 because to you has been given, as regards Christ, not only the believing on him but the suffering for him also,
30 having the same conflict which ye have seen in me, and now hear of in me.
These are my thoughts, please share yours.
27 We are not citizens of this world but of heaven we need to act as such being representatives of Christ to those of this world trying to have them come to a fellowship with our Lord. If we act no different than the world they will not see a purpose of coming to Christ. We need to stand together by faith and allow good word to be spread about us because of our obedience to following Jesus.
28 There are those that stand against God and there are those that hated Christ and their will be those who stand against God using us and those who hate us. We will have those who consider themselves our enemies, we should love our enemies. God will judge those who wrong us we do not need to react but continue to follow after God’s will if people are not hating us sharing the word then either we are sharing it with brothers or the message is not strong enough for the world. If we are being strong for Christ the world will hate us as they did Christ.
29 Suffering for Christ is a blessing that we will be rewarded for. There is no greater blessing than knowing the Lord; this is what makes us different than the world. The world can do nothing more than kill us which will send us home early to the presence of the Lord which will get rid of the suffering of this world.
30 Christian walk will often bring struggles thru the struggles we get closer to the Lord and closer to those who brother that are with us thru the struggles. Struggles will come and God will get us thru them and sometimes give us brothers to help us thru them. It not a matter of if we go thru a struggle but how many and how long the struggles will be f we are strong for Christ.
