14 And as he passed by, he saw Levi the son of Alphaeus sitting at the receipt of custom, and said unto him, Follow me. And he arose and followed him.

13 So the crowds follow Jesus and He continues to teach.
14 This is understood also to be Matthew. So Jesus calls a tax collector to follow Him, this was a cultural no no but was what Levi needed, he needed Jesus just as much as we do.
