Mark 2:4-5 King James Version (KJV) 4 And when they could not come nigh unto him for the press, they uncovered the roof where he was: and when they had broken it up, they let down the bed wherein the sick of the palsy lay.
5 When Jesus saw their faith, he said unto the sick of the palsy, Son, thy sins be forgiven thee.
Mark 2:4-5 21st Century King James Version (KJ21)
4 And when they could not come nigh unto Him because of the throng, they uncovered the roof where He was. And when they had broken through, they let down the bed on which the one sick with the palsy lay.
5 When Jesus saw their faith, He said unto the one sick with the palsy, “Son, thy sins are forgiven thee.”
4 They could not go away without seeing Jesus, they may have meant to leave earlier but carrying their friend slowed them down, there were not going away without seeing Jesus so they tear apart this roof that was to a house they may have not known the owner but they did not care they needed Jesus. We need to have this attitude that nothing will stop us from finding and following Jesus.
5 This man was changed his sins were forgiven, he still was physically damaged but spiritually whole. We need to know that the spiritually is more important then the physical and God cares about taking care of the spiritual over the physical.
