Jesus Heals a Sick Man
40 A man with ·a skin disease [T leprosy; C the term does not refer to modern leprosy (Hansen’s disease), but to various skin disorders; Lev. 14] came to Jesus. He fell to his knees and begged Jesus, “You can ·heal me [L make me clean; C leprosy rendered a person ceremonially defiled (“unclean”), and so unable to participate in Israel’s religious life] if you ·will [are willing; want to].”
41 Jesus felt ·sorry [compassion] for the man, so he reached out his hand and touched him and said, “I ·will [am willing; want to]. Be ·healed [L cleansed]!”

41 We all have something that has made us unclean it is our sin, we need to call out and seek Jesus to heal us of our sin just as this man did with his sickness.
42 Jesus healed him, when we come to Jesus in faith to be cleaned of our sins He answers willing and draws us close to His presence.
