Mark 1:25-28 King James Version (KJV)
25 And Jesus rebuked him, saying, Hold thy peace, and come out of him.
26 And when the unclean spirit had torn him, and cried with a loud voice, he came out of him.
27 And they were all amazed, insomuch that they questioned among themselves, saying, What thing is this? what new doctrine is this? for with authority commandeth he even the unclean spirits, and they do obey him.
28 And immediately his fame spread abroad throughout all the region round about Galilee.

These are my thoughts, please share yours.
25 Jesus has power over demons even thought they aren’t in submission to Him, He may not be accepted by them as Lord but that doesn’t change that He is Lord.
26 The demon did all it could do but the power of the word of the Lord aid come out the demon had no option but to follow the word and come out. God speaking still holds power. God’s word hold power, it was by His Word that the world was made.
27 I don’t understand why this would be a new teaching because he did another miracle but this is more proof for them to see Jesus wasn’t just a man because man doesn’t have power over demons. If demons have to obey Him then we should be submissive to Him so that we aren’t forced as this demon was to obey His word.
28 Jesus’ name was being spread, we should be spreading His name around today. What type of name are we living and sharing of Jesus by how we live, a good name or a poor name?
