Edification on Conductor Node

Hello all,



I have few queries regarding the conductor node. I have searched the dsxchange forums but could not find answers to those. Like,



1. Is the datastage installation server the default conductor node?



2. If datastage installation server is the default conductor node then does it make any difference if we explicitly define the datastage installation server as conductor node by ' pools "conductor" '?



3. Can we define any other server where datastage is not installed as the conductor node?
