13 Then shalt thou prosper, if thou takest heed to fulfil the statutes and judgments which the LORD charged Moses with concerning Israel: be strong, and of good courage; dread not, nor be dismayed.
14 Now, behold, in my trouble I have prepared for the house of the LORD an hundred thousand talents of gold, and a thousand thousand talents of silver; and of brass and iron without weight; for it is in abundance: timber also and stone have I prepared; and thou mayest add thereto.

These are my thoughts, please share yours.
13 We are to make our best efforts thru Jesus to follow the Lord. We do good to keep His word. We shouldn’t fear in following the Lord even though negative things are often brought to us by the world for following the Lord. The Christian walk is living a life after His commands, a life for Him rather then for us.
14 David is telling him this, David wasn’t allowed to build the temple but did everything he could do, often times we aren’t willing to go that extra mile instead we turn around but David kept going but in obedience. We could also be told no and keep going David did not do this but knew he could still do something, we should know that thru the Lord we can always do something.
