Matthew 26:69-71 King James Version (KJV)
69 Now Peter sat without in the palace: and a damsel came unto him, saying, Thou also wast with Jesus of Galilee.
70 But he denied before them all, saying, I know not what thou sayest.
71 And when he was gone out into the porch, another maid saw him, and said unto them that were there, This fellow was also with Jesus of Nazareth.
Matthew 26:69-71 Young's Literal Translation (YLT)
69 And Peter without was sitting in the court, and there came near to him a certain maid, saying, `And thou wast with Jesus of Galilee!'
70 And he denied before all, saying, `I have not known what thou sayest.'
71 And he having gone forth to the porch, another female saw him, and saith to those there, `And this one was with Jesus of Nazareth;'

69 So Peter is spotted Peter had walked with Jesus close since the start of His ministry he was one of Jesus first disciples. Peter was out spoken and other then Jesus Peter might have been the next person people would have remembered from being in the group. Do people recognize that we have Jesus in our lives because just as this woman knew with Peter people need to be able to know that we are His?
70 Peter first all lied then deny God. Peter believing who Jesus is did not just deny a man but denied the Lord and while others did not know truly who Jesus was Peter did and denied Him anyway.
71 This is most likely where he goes to get away from the damsel so this is right after most likely. So they know Jesus by different names this shows that Jesus was not the same to them. Again he is spotted and they know that he was with Jesus, they don’t know his name the know the name of Jesus and know that he was with Him, it isn’t about who we are but who we interact with and whose we are.
