Psalms 43:1

KJV 1 Judge me, O God, and plead my cause against an ungodly nation: O deliver me from the deceitful and unjust man.

JuliaSmith 1 Judge me, O God, and contend my contention from a nation not godly: from the man of deceit and iniquity thou wilt deliver me.

These are my thoughts.

We are to pray that God remove our temptation of our own flesh and pray that He allows us to overcome those of the world who hate His name and seek to destroy us because we follow Him.

Psalms 43:2

KJV 2 For thou art the God of my strength: why dost thou cast me off? why go I mourning because of the oppression of the enemy?

JuliaSmith 2 For thou the God of my strength: why didst thou reject me? wherefore darkened shall I go about for the oppression of the enemy?

These are my thoughts.

Sometimes we have to ask God this to find comfort but we should never turn from Him because of this.

We are to be like Christ for world to know Him by us.

KJV 4 Then will I go unto the altar of God, unto God my exceeding joy: yea, upon the harp will I praise thee, O God my God.
CLV 4 Then let me come to the altar of Elohim, To the El of my exultant rejoicing, And I shall acclaim You with the harp, O Elohim, my Elohim."

These are my thoughts.
We should offer up praise to our Lord.
