Deuteronomy 3:2

KJV 2 And the LORD said unto me, Fear him not: for I will deliver him, and all his people, and his land, into thy hand; and thou shalt do unto him as thou didst unto Sihon king of the Amorites, which dwelt at Heshbon.

JuliaSmith 2 And Jehovah will say to me, Thou shalt not fear him, for into thy hand I gave him and all his people, and his land; and do to him as thou didst to Sihon, king of the Amorites, who will dwell in Hebron.



These are my thoughts.

We have truly nothing to fear as long as we follow the Lord because He has control.

Deuteronomy 3:4

KJV 4 And we took all his cities at that time, there was not a city which we took not from them, threescore cities, all the region of Argob, the kingdom of Og in Bashan.

These are my thoughts.

The mastered what God had for them because they trusted in Him we should trust in Him and He will give us what He has planned for us as well.

Deuteronomy 3:6

KJV 6 And we utterly destroyed them, as we did unto Sihon king of Heshbon, utterly destroying the men, women, and children, of every city.

CLV 6 And we doomed them just as we did to Sihon king of Heshbon, dooming every city--adult males, women and little ones.



These are my thoughts.

These people faced the wrath of God thru Israel, we want to come to Jesus so that we avoid God’s wrath on us.

Deuteronomy 3:7

KJV 7 But all the cattle, and the spoil of the cities, we took for a prey to ourselves.

CLV 7 All the domestic beasts and the loot of the cities we plundered for ourselves.



These are my thoughts.

Do we have an attitude of serving God for what we can take because that is not the right heart.

Deuteronomy 3:9

KJV 9 (Which Hermon the Sidonians call Sirion; and the Amorites call it Shenir;)

CLV 9 (the Sidonians call Hermon Sirion, and the Amorite call it Shenir),



These are my thoughts.

The world has their names for things but what matters is if God calls us His child.

Deuteronomy 3:11

KJV 11 For only Og king of Bashan remained of the remnant of giants; behold his bedstead was a bedstead of iron; is it not in Rabbath of the children of Ammon? nine cubits was the length thereof, and four cubits the breadth of it, after the cubit of a man.

CLV 11 (For only Og king of Bashan had remained of the rest of the Rephaim. Behold, his divan is a burial divan of wrought iron. Is it not in Rabbah of the sons of Ammon? Nine cubits is its length and four cubits its width, in the cubit measure of a man..



These are my thoughts.

He was left sometimes when feel all alone God has left us and when can turn to Him to have everything.

Deuteronomy 3:13

KJV 13 And the rest of Gilead, and all Bashan, being the kingdom of Og, gave I unto the half tribe of Manasseh; all the region of Argob, with all Bashan, which was called the land of giants.

CLV 13 The rest of Gilead and all of Bashan, the kingdom of Og, I gave to the half tribe of Manasseh, including the whole district of Argob. All of that Bashan is called the country of the Rephaim.



These are my thoughts.

Sometimes to gain what God has given us we have to fight giants in our life.
