Psalms 78:1

KJV 1 Give ear, O my people, to my law: incline your ears to the words of my mouth.

KJV2 1 A Lesson of Asaph. O my people, listen to my law; bow your ears to the words of my mouth.

These are my thoughts.

We need to listen to and follow God’s word.

Are we open to receive harsh truth of the word?

Psalms 78:4

KJV 4 We will not hide them from their children, shewing to the generation to come the praises of the LORD, and his strength, and his wonderful works that he hath done.

KJV2 4 We will not hide them from their sons; to declare to the coming generation the praises of Jehovah; yea, His strength and His wonderful works that He has done.

These are my thoughts.

We should share the wonderful works of the Lord with the next generation and they find His strength.

These are my thoughts.
We as Christians should have a testimony of coming to faith but also of how we have followed Him since and we should teach what we have learned to others.

These are my thoughts.
We should do our part to make sure that the gospel and living for the Lord is carried on.

Psalms 78:7

KJV7 That they might set their hope in God, and not forget the works of God, but keep his commandments:

KJV2 7 so that they might set their hope in God, and not forget the works of God, but keep His commandments.

These are my thoughts.

We need to set our hope in Jesus and what He did on the cross and by this it should be our motivation to serve Him and keep His commands to us.

KJV 8 And might not be as their fathers, a stubborn and rebellious generation; a generation that set not their heart aright, and whose spirit was not stedfast with God.

These are my thoughts.

The best thing is toe help lead the next generation to be more devoted to the Lord.

These are my thoughts.
God has us in battle as Christians and we shouldnt turn back but continue forward on our way home.
